Any ballet addict has a wardrobe full of leotards of all colours, styles and fits! Leotard purchases are definitely based on personal preference, but there is far less room for error when gifting ballet skirts! They are surprisingly hard to find, with the ranges offered by big brands such as Capezio, Bloch and Plume being relatively limited. We would recommend turning to the talented and bustling Insta community, in particular we love the designs by @balletskirts_by_lucinda. She designs skirts of all styles, lengths and prints – adding just enough sparkle to your ballet attire! Check out some of our favourite designs below!
Personalised artwork by @pointebrush
I’ve been following Margot’s account (@pointebrush) on Instagram for over 4 years now, she is an illustrator and painter who never fails to impress me with her unique style and creativity. She produces beautiful prints, using watercolour and pencil on paper, which recreate conic ballet scenes. Her artistic style perfectly captures the true essence and grace of ballet. Her prints, along with ballet inspired phone cases and silk scarves are available to purchase here and she also offers custom prints!
Check out some of @pointebrush’s beautiful work below! I sure would love to have this hanging in my bedroom.
