Swipe to browse our schedule for all of our in-person weekly classes running 7 April – 11 June, plus check out our Variations schedule on the final slide 👀 If you would like to enrol for the full term of a chosen class, you automatically qualify for a 10% discount! 😊 This term our courses are running for 7 - 9 weeks and cost between £95 and £122 for the full term. A reminder that if you purchase a term pack but are unable to attend all the dates, you can reallocate up to a maximum of two class credits to another class within the same term. Simply notify us more than 72 hours in advance and we’ll take care of this for you 🙌🏾 ⚠️ Easter Closure Reminder: LBC will be closed from Monday 30 March – Monday 6 April, with classes resuming on Tuesday 7 April as the Spring Term begins. Please note, our Spring term ends earlier than usual this year and LBC will be closed between Monday 15 and Sunday 28 June. Our Summer term will begin on Monday 29 June! Course and drop-in bookings are now open via our website! To enrol for the term, head to the booking page (link in bio) and select the ‘Packages’ tab above the class calendar. You’ll see our Monthly Memberships first — these are recurring monthly payments in exchange for class credits, and are the most economical option if you plan to mix and match classes or attend multiple classes per week. Scroll further down to the ‘Courses’ section where you’ll find all the class packs for the Spring Term. Simply select your chosen course and our booking platform will automatically enrol you for every class in the term. You’ll receive an email with key information — then all that’s left to do is show up and dance 🎉❤️ P.S. ⭐️ Announcing our next Variation of the Month ⭐️ 📍 Sundays at The Place, Kings Cross 1, 8, 15 and 22 February 2026 5 - 6.30pm: Intermediate/Advanced (in this class we teach the original choreography) 6.30 - 8pm: Beginners/Improvers (we teach a simplified version that captures the essence/style of the choreo) 🌟 Week 4 (22 February) is an (optional) performance day in classes. A wonderful chance to set yourself a goal of performing this role (solo or in a small group 😍) About this variation: Giselle is one of classical ballet’s most beloved characters. Her iconic variation is full of delicate footwork, and flowing arms that convey innocence and youthfulness. Beneath this softness lies playfulness and quiet energy, building to quick hops and fast turns at the variation’s close. Her subtle gestures—whether a bow of the head, a glance, or gentle smile—showcase her natural interaction with other villagers as she dances. Skillfully embedding these gestures in an organic and easeful way helps to make her character believable and endearing. Technically, the variation demands immense control, particularly in the opening penché and attitude turns, which slow into soft, precise landings. Each month we have a selection of focal steps based on the variation, that we breakdown and practice in an open class format. (Note: Our Technique classes also split into Intermediate/Advanced and Beginner level too). In our Intermediate classes we will focus on penché in the centre, attitude turns and manége practice! A wonderful chance to set yourself a goal of performing this role (solo or in a small group 😍) About this variation: This scene marks Paquita’s first appearance in the ballet, and it immediately establishes her as a vivacious, confident, and captivating woman! The choreography is bright and articulate, with dramatic jumps, expressive épaulement, and flowing transitions that capture the flair and vitality of Spanish character dance. The routine requires precision and sharpness, but it’s equally important to infuse your movement with a natural, spontaneous quality, reflecting the lively energy of a scene set in a bustling Spanish town square. Our Winter Workshops ❄️ for Jan – Mar 2026 are here! Swipe to explore our full line-up, including our brand new 3-part Variations en pointe Series 👀🩰 Our Variations en pointe Series invites adult dancers to explore classical repertoire en pointe in a supportive and level appropriate environment. We wanted all our dedicated and hard working Pointe students to have the opportunity to translate the foundational pointe skills they work on in weekly class into choreography. The workshops also have a focus on musicality, control, quality of movement, and storytelling. We want these sessions to offer space to enhance confidence in centre work and we hope you experience the richness and fulfilment of dancing full variations en pointe. These workshops are designed for LBC Pointe students or those with comparable experience. Teacher approval is required so that everyone can work safely and comfortably. We’re also introducing a special half-day workshop next term: a gentle, detailed exploration of an excerpt from Dances at a Gathering. Expect poetic musicality, soft dynamics, and expressive movement quality — perfect for dancers wanting to get a little out of their comfort zone and immerse themselves in the beautiful choreography of Jerome Robbins.
